Ang Probinsyano: Lola Flora, nanguna sa paggunita ng mahal na araw April 17, 2019 10:01 PM

Amidst all the trials that she and her family have gone through, her faith has always been Lola Flora’s (Susan Roces) biggest armor. Lola Flora leads in her family’s Holy Week preparations. The female members of the household, Alyana (Yassi Pressman) and Yolly (Malou Crisologo), adorn the altar with image of Christ and flowers. Bubbles (Bianca Manalo) joins in as well and expresses her curiosity on whether Lola Flora does the reading of the passion yearly.

According to Lola Flora, the ‘pabasa’ has always been a family tradition and was passed on to her by her mother. Yolly adds that they always maintain the ritual even if they sometimes transfer from one place to another. Elmo (Marvin Yap) suddenly remembers the recent incident where their landlady came and asked them to leave the house immediately, saying they might be moving to another place again. But, Alyana consoles him and asks Elmo to simply add their newest dilemma in their prayers.

The passion reading starts and is joined by Lola Flora’s entire family. Still a part of their Holy Week celebration, Lola Flora and her family visit several churches. Ligaya (Shantel Ngujo) expresses her curiosity about Visita Iglesia.

According to Lola Flora, praying at different churches is an act of reflection on the Lord’s passion and suffering. It is also a good opportunity to ask for the Lord’s forgiveness. She also asks the kids and her family to include Cardo (Coco Martin) and the Vendetta in their prayers.
